Frequently Asked Questions
The previous school hasn’t released my child on KEMIS yet. What happens?
Your child can be admitted provisionally while the release is completed.
My child doesn’t have a birth certificate yet. Can they still join?
Yes. We accept other reasonable evidence of age, such as a clinic or baptismal card, and give you time, normally one term, to obtain the birth certificate.
Is the entry assessment an exam my child can fail?
No. It helps us place your child in the right class and identify any support they may need.
My child has a learning or medical need. Will they be considered?
Absolutely. Please share any needs and reports when applying, and we’ll meet with you to agree on the right support.
What if the class is full?
We’ll tell you straight away and offer a place on the waiting list for that class.
Is school transport available?
Yes, subject to route capacity. Our Transport Department will confirm the route and stage for your area.
